This Just In: The MTV VMAs Are Irresponsible

I repeat: the VMAs are irresponsible. Is nothing sacred anymore?

Dear Kanye’s at it again. This time he haz a sad because awards ceremonies, in his humble opinion, don’t always recognize the year’s truly “best” music. It’s funny that no one else in the history of awards shows, except everyone, has ever had or shared this thought.

I pinpoint the Grammys and the VMAs because they have to take responsibility, because they mean something to us. Little kids, six years (old), that are singing in front of the mirror. They’re also thinking about their Grammy speech; they’re thinking about when there will be a VMA so these people, whoever run them… they have to take some responsibility to say what really happened in culture this year because we’re marking it down.

Much like Taylorgate, I’m sure Kanye thought we were all just waiting for him to show us the light. I’m also sure this has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that he hasn’t won Album of the Year, or whatever the hell he’s whining about now. He’s just speaking up for the real victims: little kids singing into hair brushes everywhere, this one’s for you. Thank you, Kanye.
